Contractor - Divisional Data Privacy Administrator

Ideally looking for either contract to hire or will hire fulltime for the right candidate.

Candidates must be local to either Scottsdale, AZ, Malvern PA or Charlotte, NC--will work Vanguard Hybrid Schedule (M/F WFH, T/W/TH in-office)

Contractor Pay Rate: $35-36/hr

Fulltime Salary: $70k + $2,500 Target Bonus + $9,000 Partnership Bonus

**Candidates must have Series 7 and Series 63 Certification obtained to be submitted

 

Job Description Summary: Researches and reviews privacy incidents to support the division's regulatory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Researches and reviews reports received through the division's fraud hotline and analyzes potential incidents reports to identify, investigate, and resolve. Elevates complex issues, as necessary. Follows approved investigation procedures and obtains approvals for corrective actions as needed.

2. Prepares privacy incident correspondence and responds to routine privacy inquiries. Complies with direction from the Global and Legal Privacy teams.

3. Assesses potential control failures. Collaborates with management and or the appropriate business partners to ensure that potential high risk scenarios caused by a control failure are corrected.

4. Assists with the maintenance of written procedures documenting privacy incident processes and coordinates the distribution of updated policies and procedures to the division.

5. Keeps abreast of regulatory procedures and changes. Provides the appropriate privacy incident prevention services, including awareness, training, reinforcement of procedures to other divisional units as directed.

6. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.


• Minimum of one year related work experience, with experience in data privacy preferred.


• This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.
